Magali Thibault-Gobeil

Research and experimentation are the driving force behind Magali’s creations. Motivated by a desire not only to contribute to fine art jewellery as a discipline, but also to challenge the current field of jewellery, Magali’s work is based on a search for fluidity in form and colour. Magali graduated from the École de joaillerie de Montréal in 2013. Throughout her career, her innovative work has distinguished itself by winning numerous awards, bursaries and honours. In 2014, she was awarded with the first presence award at the Salon des métiers d’art de Montréal. Recipient of the prestigious Prix François-Houdé 2017, she was also a finalist at the Niche Student Awards (2013, United States) and the Arts and Craft Awards (2014, Croatia).
