Mission

The École de joaillerie de Montréal’s mission is to ensure the dissemination of knowledge, expertise and values specific to the world of jewellery as an art form to its diverse audiences.

• As a partner of the Cégep du Vieux Montréal, the school provides specific training in the Craft Techniques program in the jewellery discipline.
• As a studio-school, it facilitates graduates’ integration into the job market and meets professional jewellers’ development needs.
• As a research and diffusion centre, the institution promotes jewellery as a profession through cultural activities, as well as through introductory and professional development courses related to jewellery. The ÉJM also elaborates and collaborates on certain research projects.
