Gustavo Estrada

Born in Guatemala, Gustavo has lived in Montreal since 1993. From the moment he arrived in Canada, he began looking for a way to create and express himself. This is when he discovered the world of jewellery. He became fascinated by the potential to escape in the act of creating, and jewellery allowed him to enter a new world, where tenacity and imagination lead to the creation of objects that bring satisfaction and gratification. Small or large, every object is precious and testifies to a rich creative process. Through plastic work on metal and by exploring techniques such as patination, copper on silver and repoussé, Gustavo Estrada finds his way back to his own roots.
