Bench rental

We offer a bench rental service to professional artisans in a fully equipped workshop.

This service will be available for the 2026 winter and spring semester :

  • From monday January 12th 2026
  • To friday May 31st 2026

The school will be closed the following days:

  • 28 and 29 March 2026
  • 3, 4, 5, 6 April 2026
  • 18 May 2026

Rental times and rates

  • For the “All Day” package, the cost is $30 and you will have access to the workshop from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • For the “Evening” package, the cost is $20 and you will have access to the workshop from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm. This package is only available from Tuesday to Friday.
  • For the “weekly” package, from Monday to Friday, the cost is $120 and includes the rental of a free locker. You can take advantage of daytime and evening hours, depending on your needs.
  • For the “7  days” package, from Monday to sunday, the cost is $155 and includes the rental of a free locker. You can take advantage of daytime and evening hours, depending on your needs.

For all four packages, bench rental includes the loan of a toolbox.

* Accessible only to individuals who have successfully completed the technical qualification accreditation in faceting.

The rental of enameling and lapidary equipment is only possible when the designated workspace is not being used for a class.

Rental policy

Artisans wishing to rent a bench must bbok their place 24 hours in advance by calling us at 514-281-9922 ext. 205.

To have access to the rental service, the artisan must have the knowledge required to work independently and safely.

Anyone wishing to reserve a bench must have completed level 1 of the  Jewelry Basic Techniques program, the equivalent, or have the approval of their teacher. If the training was not completed at the Montreal Jewelry School, they will have to present pieces to justify their level to the technician of the day.

The School reserves the right to evict any artisan who behaves in an unsafe manner or in a manner that is detrimental to the School or other renting artisans.

Please note that we do not offer half days option and that you should avoid in and out.

Tuesday to Thursday 9:00 am to 10:00 pm
The weekend 9:30 am to 5:00 pm

The school store is closed every day:
